Perfect Reflection remains an outright $5.50 favourite in 2016 Railway Stakes betting markets with leading online bookie Ladbrokes.com.au, ahead of Mackintosh ($6.50), Rageese and Tradesman; currently sharing the third line at generous $7.50 quotes.

Will Perfect Reflection justify favouritism and win the 2016 Railway Stakes, or will one of her talented rivals post an upset?

1st

He Or She ($16)

He Or She has been a standout amongst classy company in the east this season, will carry only 55.5kgs and should prove extremely tough to beat in the Railway Stakes 2016. A former Perth galloper, He Or She ran third in the Group 1 Makybe Diva Stakes (1600m) and second in the Group 1 Underwood Stakes (1800m) before placing third behind Winx and Black Heart Bart in the Group 1 Ladbrokes Stakes (2000m). Last seen placing fifth in the Group 2 Crystal Mile (1600m), the Kendal Star gelding has reportedly taken well to a freshen-up and will relish a step back in class this weekend.

2nd

Disposition ($13)

Talented local Disposition carries excellent form and proven ability at Ascot into the Railway Stakes, but is a bit of a non-winner. Posting six wins and as many minors through fifteen career starts so far, the Reset gelding trialled well in the lead-up to his competitive return before finishing fourth in the Group 3 Northerly Stakes (1400m) first-up on October 15th. Having charged home for second in the Group 2 Lee Steere Stakes (1400m) on November 5th, Disposition is primed for a big performance this weekend but will need to overcome the outside barrier in the Railway Stakes.

3rd

Good Project ($14)

2016 champion Good Project is drawn well in the Railway Stakes field in barrier 7, will carry only 55kgs and has the notable advantage of Hugh Bowman in the saddle. Resuming this time for tenth in the Group 2 Premiere Stakes (1200m), the Not A Single Doubt entire ran on for fourth in the Group 3 Moonga Stakes (1400m) before a luckless, albeit smart run for seventh in the Group 1 Cantala Stakes (1600m) last time out on October 29th. Good Project’s proven formula at Ascot suggests he is more than worth consideration for a bet at current 2016 Railway Stakes odds.
